STOVE

BY DEPRESS�NG AND HOLD�NG THE POWER
BUTTON FOR TWO SECONDS. ONCE THE
D�SPLAY SCREEN �ND�CATES THAT THE
STOVE �S �N THE STAB�L�ZAT�ON CYCLE
PRESS THE POWER BUTTON AGA�N. THE
STOVE W�LL ENTER THE "SW�TCH�NG OFF"
CYCLE, STATED ON THE D�SPLAY SCREEN.
CAUT�ON: AFTER THE COOL�NG CYCLE
THE STOVE AUTOMAT�CALLY BEG�NS THE
PROCESS OF CYCL�NG ON.
1. Depress the power button for 3 seconds.
The stove wi�� begin to automatica��y progress
through the fo��owing stages:
• Switching O昀昀: Any remaining fue� in the 昀椀re
pot wi�� continue to burn and produce heat
and f�ame. After 5 to 8 minutes the 昀椀re pot
ought to be devoid of fue�. The heat
exchanger may then begin to coo� o昀昀.
• Goodbye: The 昀椀na� message from the disp�ay
screen to designate that the stove has coo�ed.
2. The stove has been successfu��y turned o昀昀.
OPERATION WITH AN ELECTRICAL
GENERATOR
This stove is designed to have the option of being
powered by an e�ectrica� generator, though not a��
e�ectrica� generator's may be compatib�e with this
stove. Consu�t the information regarding your
generator's e�ectrica� regu�ator and make sure
that it meets the e�ectrica� requirements of this
stove.
MINIMIZING CREOSOTE FORMATION
See "MA�NTENANCE" on page 13 for an
exp�anation of Creosote formation and remova�.
To s�ow the bui�d up of creosote within your
chimney burn on�y the recommended fue�, see
page 7.
DISPOSAL OF ASHES

container with a tight 昀椀tting �id.
• other waste sha�� not be p�aced in ash
containers.
• The c�osed container of ashes shou�d be
p�aced on a noncombustib�e f�oor or on the
ground, we�� away from a�� combustib�e
materia�s, pending 昀椀na� disposa�.
• Wood minera� residue (approximate�y 1-
2%) remains in the ash and is an exce��ent
natura� ferti�iser product for a�� garden
p�ants. Before disposing ashes of by buria�
in soi� otherwise �oca��y dispersed, they
shou�d be retained in the c�osed container
unti� a�� any and a�� cinders have thorough�y
coo�ed and shou�d a�so be "quenched" with
water.
Remote Button Functionality
The buttons on the remote contro��er a昀昀ect the
stoves operation in the same way that the
mounted button do, exp�ained be�ow:

on the remote contro��er that can indicate to
you that the button presses are being received
by the stove. �n order to remote�y contro� the
stove but a�so monitor its settings, try insta��ing
the Smart Stove app.
