Rep�acing the door g�ass is on�y permitted by
rep�acing the entire door assemb�y provided by
the manufacturer. See pages 21-24.
WARN�NG: SUBST�TUT�NG ALTERNATE
MATER�AL MAY SHATTER GLASS AND
CAUSE �NJURY.
REPLACING: SEALING GASKETS
Over time the sea�ing gaskets a�ong the g�ass,
door, or ash drawer may �ose their rigidity. These
sea�s are essentia� for providing a sea� which
a��ows the stove to operate safe�y. �nspect the
gaskets periodica��y, and if they become worn
contact the manufacturer for information on
origina� or equiva�ent gasket.
To rep�ace the gasket:
•
Ensure that a�� pe��ets are extinguished and
that the stove is coo� to the touch.
•
Remove o�d gasket and c�ean the gasket
gutter.
•
App�y a thin coat of high temperature gasket
cement a�ong the inside of the gasket gutter.
•
Press the beginning of the rep�acement
gasket into the most up and most �eft position
of the prepared gasket gutter.
•
Continue pressing the rep�acement gasket
c�ockwise a�ong the gasket gutter unti� it has
wrapped back to where the gasket was
pressed in initia��y.
•
Trim any excess rep�acement gasket away
and press the remaining end into the gutter to
comp�ete the sea�.
C�ose the door, drawer, or ash drawer and a��ow
3 to 4 hours for the cement to set before
operating the stove.
REPLACING: HOT SURFACE IGNITER
Ensure that the stove is o昀昀 and a��ow it time to
become coo� to the touch. After gaining access to
the back, undo the screw �ocated on the back
inside of the main body. Pu�� the hot surface
igniter free and insta�� rep�acement service part.

NOTE: DEPEND�NG ON THE MODEL OF THE
STOVE, �T MAY BE NECESSARY TO REMOVE THE
AUGER MOTOR �N ORDER TO SL�DE THE
�GN�TER OUT OF �TS HOUS�NG.

REPLACING: AUGER SYSTEM
Ensure that the stove is o昀昀 and a��ow it time to
become coo� to the touch. After gaining access to
the back, the auger can be disassemb�ed part by
part in the order indicated in Figure 23.
REPLACING: HEAT EXCHANGE BLOWER
Unp�ug the heater. Disconnect any wiring
�eading to the Heat Exchange B�ower. Remove
the screws ho�ding the mounting p�ate to the
heater. S�ow�y remove b�ower and rep�ace with
new one. Rep�ace screws and wiring.
REPLACING: EXHAUST BLOWER
Unp�ug the heater. Disconnect any wiring
�eading to the Exhaust B�ower. Remove the wing
nuts ho�ding the Exhaust B�ower p�ate to the
b�ower housing. S�ow�y remove b�ower and
rep�ace with new one. Rep�ace wing nuts and
wiring.
SAFETY COMPONENTS
1. Vacuum Pressure Switch: A safety vacuum
switch is �ocated behind the �eft door,
fastened to the base. �f a �ow pressure is
created in the 昀椀re box by a �eak, opening the
door to the 昀椀re box, a b�ocked f�ue, or
anunsea�ed ash drawer then the switch wi��
shut the stove o昀昀 as a precaution. Error code
E5 wi�� appear on the disp�ay pane�.
2. PROTECT TEMPERATURE SENSOR TO
AVO�D OVERHEAT�NG.
A safety temperature sensor switches the
stove o昀昀 automatica��y if it overheats. An
error code E6 wi�� appear on the disp�ay.
