1.4. Network connections
Devices (notebooks, PCs, tablets, etc.) connected to an EOC endpoint are on the same network as the devices
on the Ethernet interfaces of the EOC master.
If the Internet router has a DHCP server, for example, the devices connected to the endpoint also receive their
IP address from this server.
The PCs on the EOC 30-0x do not have access to the configuration interface of the EOC master. Only the WiFi
configuration, if activated in the master, can be changed on the EOC 30-02.
For the diagnosis of the Ethernet-over-Coax connection between master and endpoint, additional IP settings
are necessary (IP Address for SNR Measure) master and endpoint must be in the same subnet for the diagnosis
function.
1.5. WiFi of the EOC 30-02
The WiFi SSID and password can be found on the label on the bottom of the EOC 30-02.
If devices are connected to the EOC 30-02 via WiFi, they must also be in the same IPv4 network section or
receive the IP address dynamically from a DHCP server.
