Note the following to maintain the functionality of the
device:
• Keep ventilation slots free and clean
• Remove dust and dirt with a cloth or a soft brush
• Do not clean the machine with running water or
high-pressure cleaners.
• Do not use any solvents (petrol, alcohol, etc.) on the
plastic parts as they can damage the plastic parts.
• Clean the stirrers.
• The mixer is equipped with carbon brushes. If they
are worn, have the carbon brushes replaced by cus-
tomer service.
For your own safety, check the mixer regularly for dam-
age. Replace a damaged mixer immediately.
Check the stirrer regularly. A stirrer with a defective
stirrer shaft must no longer be used. Have the device
serviced if necessary.

With this product, it is necessary to note that the fol-
lowing parts are subject to natural or usage-related
wear, or that the following parts are required as con-
sumables.

11. Electrical connection
The electrical motor installed is connected and
ready for operation. The connection complies
with the applicable VDE and DIN provisions. The
customer's mains connection as well as the ex-
tension cable used must also comply with these
regulations.
• The product fulfils the requirements of EN 61000-3-
11 and may only be used at the following connection
points: This means that use of the product at any
freely selectable connection points is not allowed.
• Given unfavourable conditions in the power supply
the product can cause the voltage to fluctuate tem-
porarily.
• The product is intended solely for use at connection
points that
a) do not exceed a maximum permissible mains im-
pedance "Z" (Zmax. Do not exceed = 0.25 Ω), or
b) have a mains constant current carrying capacity
of at least 100 A per phase.
• As the user, you are required to ensure, in consulta-
tion with your electric power company if necessary,
that the connection point at which you wish to oper-
ate the product meets one of the two requirements,
a) or b), named above.
Damaged electrical connection cable
The insulation on electrical connection cables is of-
ten damaged.
This may have the following causes:
• Pressure points, where connection cables are
passed through windows or doors.
• Kinks where the connection cable has been improp-
erly fastened or routed.
• Places where the connection cables have been cut
due to being driven over.
• Insulation damage due to being ripped out of the wall
outlet.
• Cracks due to the insulation ageing.
Such damaged electrical connection cables must not
be used and are life-threatening due to the insulation
damage.
Check the electrical connection cables for damage
regularly. Ensure that the connection cables are dis-

connected from electrical power when checking for

Electrical connection cables must comply with the ap-

plicable VDE and DIN provisions. Only use connection
cables with designation H05VV-F.
The printing of the type designation on the connection
cable is mandatory.
AC motor
• The mains voltage must be 220 - 240 V~.
• Extension cables up to 25 m long must have a
cross-section of 1.5 square millimetres.
Connections and repair work on the electrical equip-
ment may only be carried out by electricians.
