ADJUSTING THE TREADMILL BELT TENSION
To ensure optimal performance and operation of your treadmill, it is necessary to adjust
the treadmill belt tension properly.
Centering the Treadmill Belt:
Place the treadmill on a flat surface. Start the treadmill at approximately 5 km/h and
observe if the belt deviates. If the belt shifts to the right, unplug the power, rotate the
right adjustment bolt clockwise 1/4 turn, plug in the power, and restart the treadmill to
check the alignment. Repeat until the belt is centered (Picture A).
If the belt shifts to the left, unplug the power, rotate the left adjustment bolt clockwise 1/4
turn, plug in the power and safety key, restart the treadmill to check the alignment.
Repeat until the belt is centered (Picture B).
Adjusting Belt Tension:
After initial adjustment or with use over time, the belt may gradually loosen and require
readjustment.
Unplug the power. Simultaneously rotate both left and right adjustment bolts clockwise
1/4 turn. Plug in the power and safety key, start the treadmill, and stand on the belt to
confirm the tension. Repeat until the belt tension is appropriate (Picture C).
These adjustments ensure the treadmill operates smoothly and efficiently.
