Activating the Booster function:
1.
Select the desired cooking zone.
2.
Touch or slide the "P" symbol on the slider.
3.
The extra power is active, and the display of
the selected cooking zone will show "P."
To deactivate the extra power early, select the
cooking zone and change the cooking power
level.
While the extra power of one zone is activated, the power of the other zones is limited: this is
indicated on the power display by flashing the selected cooking level for a few seconds before
reducing it to the maximum allowed value.
NOTE
The extra power can be activated for 5 minutes, then the power level is automatically
decreased to 9.

5.26 RESIDUAL HEAT INDICATOR

The cooktop is equipped with a residual heat indicator "H," which signals the presence of
residual heat on the glass-ceramic surface. Although this surface is not heated directly, it
can retain heat coming from the pot used. As long as the "H" indicator is on after the zone is
turned off, you can take advantage of the residual heat for operations such as reheating or
melting food.
WARNING
Even when the "H" symbol disappears, the zone may still be hot. Therefore, caution is
necessary to avoid burns.

5.27 ENERGY MANAGEMENT

For technical reasons, some cooking zones on
the cooktop are grouped into modules to limit
maximum energy consumption and prevent
overloads. These modules include the front left
and rear left cooking zones or the front right
and rear right cooking zones.
Each module has a maximum power level
shared between the two cooking zones
that are part of it. If both zones of the same module are active, the zone whose power was
increased last will receive the requested power, while the other will see its heating power
reduced. The power reduction will be visible by the flashing of the display of the affected
cooking zone. This management prevents overload by efficiently distributing energy between
the cooking zones.
