5.10 OVERHEATING PROTECTION
The induction cooktop is equipped with an overheating safety device designed to protect
the electronic components. This device operates on multiple levels: when the temperature
of the cooktop reaches high levels, the two-level fan is activated first. If this is not sufficient,
the Booster function is disabled, and the device reduces the power of some cooktops or
completely turns them off. Once cooled, the cooktop returns to maximum power. If the
message E2 appears frequently during normal use and at room temperature, it may indicate
insufficient cooling, especially if the kitchen furniture does not have adequate openings. It is
important to ensure that the front of the cabinet has an opening of at least 3 mm.
5.11 COOKTOP CONTROL WITH TOUCH SENSORS
•
SLIDER CURSOR
The use of the ceramic glass cooktop is done via the
touch control sensor buttons. To activate a button,
simply lightly touch the symbol on the ceramic glass
surface. Each correct activation is confirmed by an
acoustic signal. For simplicity, the touch control
buttons will be referred to as "buttons."
•
WHAT TO OBSERVE DURING THE USE OF THE
ADJUSTMENT FIELDS
Avoid resting your finger too much on the ceramic
glass surface to avoid accidentally activating adjacent
buttons or adjustment fields.
•
TOUCH LIGHTLY THE CONTROL AREA OR SLIDE
YOUR FINGER
You can lightly press the control area with your finger
to gradually change the setting on the display (power
level). By placing your finger on the control area and
sliding it right or left, the display setting will change
progressively. The faster the movement, the quicker
the change on the display.
5.12 TURNING ON THE COOKTOP
•
Press the ON/OFF button for at least one second.
•
The cooktop is now active.
•
Select the next setting within 10 seconds; otherwise, the cooktop will automatically turn
off.
5.13 TURNING ON THE COOKING ZONES
After turning on the cooktop, start one of the cooking zones within the next 10 seconds. Use
the power setting display (button) to select the desired cooking zone. The standby point of
the selected zone will light up.
