5.23 AUTOMATIC HEATING
Automatic heating is a function that allows you
to quickly heat a cold pot to maximum power,
then automatically return to the desired cooking
level. This function is useful for starting the
cooking of initially cold foods at high intensity.
The heating time at maximum power varies
based on the chosen cooking level, as indicated
in the following table.
Activating Automatic Heating:
1. Turn on the cooktop and select the desired
cooking zone.
2. Press and hold the chosen cooking level
(between 1 and 8) for at least 3 seconds.
3. Automatic heating will activate for that
cooking zone.
NOTE
• You can increase the power level
during automatic heating.
• Reducing the power level during
activation will deactivate automatic
heating.
5.24 FOOD WARMER
The Food Warmer function allows you to keep prepared food warm at a constant temperature
and low power level on the cooking zone.
How to use the Food Warmer function:
1. Place the pots on the cooking zone.
2. Press the Food Warmer button to activate
the keep warm level.
To deactivate the function, press the Food Warmer button again. The Food Warmer function
is active for a maximum of 120 minutes, after which the cooking zone will automatically turn
off.
5.25 QUICK COOKING (BOOSTER FUNCTION)
The Booster function allows you to activate extra power for quick cooking, ideal for heating
large quantities of food. This function temporarily increases the power of a cooking zone
above the normal maximum level.
