5.17 RECALL FUNCTION

If the cooktop is accidentally turned off, the most recent settings can be retrieved thanks to
the recall function, which is only active if at least one cooking process was underway before
turning off.
1. Pots and pans must be placed on the
cooking zones with the required power
levels.
2. If the cooktop is accidentally turned off
by pressing the ON/OFF button, press the
ON/OFF button again within 6 seconds.
3. The Pause button will blink; press the
Pause button immediately after to restore
the original cooking levels and continue
the cooking process.
What can be restored:
• The cooking levels of all cooking zones.
• The minutes and seconds of the
programmed timer.
• The automatic boost function and power
boost.
What cannot be restored:
• The limitation of the operating time (counts from 0).

5.18 CHILD LOCK

This function can be activated or deactivated only after the cooktop is turned on and with all
cooking zones set to level zero.
Activating the Child Lock:
1. Press the power setting display of a
cooking zone and hold it for about 3
seconds, until the adjustment field lights
up from 0 to P.
2. Slide the adjustment field from 0 to P. The
child lock is now active, and all displays will
show "L."
• This sequence must be completed within 10 seconds.
• The child lock disables all buttons except the ON/OFF button. Once activated, the touch
control remains locked even when the cooktop is turned off and back on. In the event of
a power outage, the child lock is not canceled.
