5.33 FAN TIMER
There is the possibility to set a fan timer analogue to the cooking zone timer. The timer
is displayed on the timer display and does not start to run until the cooking process has
finished.
The following situations can occur:
• Manual mode, situation 1: fan level set, fan timer set, all cooking zones switched off but
the cooktop remains on; fan level remains active for the timer duration, then the cooktop
switches off completely.
• Manual mode, situation 2: fan level set, fan timer set, cooktop switched off with the ON/
OFF key; the fan after-run starts and remains active for the duration of the timer, then
the cooktop switches off completely
• Automatic mode: the timer can be set as soon as the fan is running and starts to run as
soon as all cooking zones are off. A timer alarm after expiry of the after-run time does not
occur.

5.34 FAN PAUSE AND RECALL
The pause symbol also appears on the fan display when the pause is active. The fan level (if
greater than 0) is reduced to level 1. After the pause the previously set level returns. For recall
the same rules as for the cooking zones are applied: the fan level is mantained and restored
on recall.
5.35 GREASE FILTER STATE INDICATION
The hob touch control includes a filter timer that reminds that it is important to clean the
grease filters on a regular basis. The filter run time is always counted when the fan is running,
even during the after-run. After the time has elapsed a flashing "F" is displayed on the fan
power setting diplay.
During the after-run the "F" is not shown: it pops up again when the hob is switched on.
The filter display can either be acknowledged or reset:
• Short press on the fan power setting display means acknowledgement. The display
appears only after switching the hob off and on again.
• Long press for 3 seconds on the fan power setting display causes a reset of the filter
timer. A confirmation tone will be heard and the "F" will be displayed for 2 seconds
before the standard display returns.
