Deactivating the Child Lock:
3. Press the ON/OFF button. Then, press the
power setting display of a cooking zone
and hold it for about 3 seconds, until the
adjustment field lights up from 0 to P.
4. To deactivate the function, the slider on the
adjustment field must move from P to 0.
5.19 KEY-LOCK
By activating the key lock protection, ongoing cooking processes will continue, but no sensors
can be activated except for the ON/OFF and lock buttons.
Activating the Key Lock:
1. The cooktop must be turned on.
2. Press the lock button for about 1 second;
the corresponding LED above the button
will light up, indicating that the lock is
active.
• If the cooktop is turned off while the lock function is active, it remains in memory until
the cooktop is turned on again.
• When the programmed timers signal the end of the set time, alarms can be turned off
by pressing the Minus or Plus buttons without needing to unlock the control.
Deactivating the Key Lock:
3. Press the lock button again. Unlocking is
confirmed by a beep.

5.20 BRIDGE FUNCTION

The front and rear cooking zones can be activated together for a cooking process (Bridge
function), allowing the use of larger pots.
1. Turn on the cooktop and place a pot over
the zones to be joined.
2. Press both the front and rear cooking
zone selection buttons simultaneously
to activate the Bridge function. Once
activated, the power level setting of the rear
zone will display the bridge symbol.
3. To deactivate, press both the front and rear
cooking zones again simultaneously or
turn off the cooktop. The cooking zones will
revert to being two separate zones.
WARNING
The pot or pan must cover at least half of the cooking zones used to be recognized by
the pot recognition device!
