8.4 DISPOSING OF THE CARBON FILTER
The regulations specify that every carbon filter must be analysed and then disposed based
on the analysis' results. In the domestic use the absorbed particles are not harmful for the
environment, so the filters may be disposed as non-recycable waste, following national and
local regulations.
The user can deliver the product to the local collection centres.
8.5 ENVIRONMENTAL INFORMATIONS
All models from the house OPERA are marked in accordance with the European Directive
2002/96/EC on waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE). This directive defines
the framework conditions for the EU-wide take-back and recycling of waste electrical and
electronic equipment. Please contact your specalist dealer for informations on current
disposal methods.
