5.30 POWER LIMITATION SETTING
The appliance is generally configured to the maximum available power shown in the
technical data table; however, an operating mode with power limitation can be set. In this
way, the maximum power supplied by the hob is limited to a fixed value.
WARNING
The power limitation setting must ONLY be performed by a specialized technician.
To set the power limitation, follow these steps:
1. Connect the hob to the power supply.
2. The Grill key starts to blink for a maximum
of two minutes. After that, you will
automatically exit the menu.
3. Hold down the Grill key and touch all the
cooking zones in a counter-clockwise
direction, starting from the front right
cooking zone. The Service Menu will be
active, and the display of the rear left
cooking zone will show the selected
menu item.
4. Select the menu item you want to view/
change using the slider device. The value
for the selected item will be displayed on
the front left cooking zone display.
5. To modify the value of the menu item,
select the menu item value by touching
the front left cooking zone. The selected
menu item value will be displayed at
full brightness; the other displays will be
dimmed. Choose the value of the menu
item using the slider control via direct
selection.
6. To exit the Service Menu, touch the ON/
OFF button for 2 seconds. The Service
Menu will close, and the changes will be
saved. Otherwise, press the Grill key to
leave the User Menu without saving the
changes.
NOTE
The power limitation setting can be modified at item 8 of the Service Menu. The other
items of the Service Menu are factory settings, do not change them!
WARNING
Select the power level according to the fuses installed.
