• If possible, keep the packaging until the expiry of the
warranty period.
• Familiarise yourself with the device by means of the
operating manual before using for the first time.
• With accessories as well as wearing parts and spare
parts use only original parts. Spare parts can be ob-
tained from your specialist dealer.
• When ordering please provide our article number as
well as type and year of manufacture for your equip-
ment.

8. Before starting the equipment
• Before you connect the equipment to the mains sup-
ply make sure that the data on the rating plate are
identical to the mains data.
• Prior to initial commissioning, remove the transport
plug (14) and fill the crank housing with oil as de-
scribed in 8.4.
• Check the equipment for damage which may have
occurred in transit. Report any damage immediately
to the transport company which was used to deliver
the compressor.
• Install the compressor near the point of consump-
tion.
• Avoid long air lines and supply lines (extension ca-
bles).
• Make sure that the intake air is dry and dust free.
• Do not install the compressor in a damp or wet
room.
• The compressor may only be used in suitable rooms
(with good ventilation and an ambient temperature
from +5 °C to 40 °C). There must be no dust, ac-
ids, vapors, explosive gases or inflammable gases
in the room.
• The compressor is designed to be used in dry
rooms. It is prohibited to use the compressor in ar-
eas where work is conducted with sprayed water.
• The compressor may only be used outdoor briefly
when the ambient conditions are dry.
• The compressor must always be kept dry and must
not be left outdoors after work is complete.

Attachment and operation
n Important!
You must fully assemble the appliance before us-
ing it for the first time!
You will require the following tools for assembly and
installation:
• 1 x open-ended wrench size 13 mm (not included)
• 1 x open-ended wrench size 17 mm (not included)
9.1 Fitting the wheels (11)
• Fit the supplied wheels (11) as shown in Fig. 5.
9.2 Fitting the supporting foot (A)
• Fit the supplied supporting foot (A) as shown in Fig-
ure 6.
9.3 Installation of the air filter (15)
• Remove the transport plug (Fig. 11 pos. F) and at-
tach the air filter (Fig. 12/15) on the unit by turning
clockwise (N) (Fig. 13).
• Solve for maintenance the air filter (15) by turning
counter-clockwise (M) (Fig. 13).
9.4 Changing the transportation cover
(Figure 8 - 10)
Remove the transport lid (14) of the oil filling opening.
Fill the included compressor oil into the crank housing
and insert the included oil sealing plug into the oil filling
opening.
9.5 Checking the oil level
m Warning: For the first use, check the oil level of
the compressor.

Operating the machine without oil will cause irrep-
arable damage and render the warranty invalid.

Remove the plastic oil inlet plug on top of the crank
box of the compressor casing. (see fig. 8)

Check the oil level in the sight glass (18). The oil
level should be in the centre of the red circle. (see
fig. 10 pos. 18.1)

Attach the closing plug (14), which is included and
pull it tight.
9.6 Mains connection
• The compressor is equipped with a mains cable
with shock-proof plug. This can be connected to any
230-240 V~ 50 Hz shock-proof socket which is pro-
tected by a 16 A fuse.
