• Check whether the scope of delivery is complete.
• Check the product and accessory parts for transport
damage. In the event of complaints the carrier must
be informed immediately. Later claims will not be rec-
ognised.
• If possible, keep the packaging until the expiry of the
warranty period.
• Familiarise yourself with the product by means of the
operating manual before using for the first time.
• With accessories as well as wearing parts and re-
placement parts use only original parts. Spare parts
can be obtained from your specialist dealer.
• When ordering please provide our article number as
well as type and year of manufacture for the product.

Before commissioning
9.1. Inserting the chisel (Fig. 3)

Screw the supplied plug nipple (4) into the air con-
nection after you have wound 2-3 layers of sealing
tape on the thread.

Insert the desired chisel into the hexagonal holder
of the chisel hammer.
3.
Push the tensioning spring (5) over the chisel.
Screw the tensioning spring onto the thread of the
cylinder (1) until it reaches the stop. Hold the ten-
sioning spring by the front retaining bracket.
9.2. Changing the chisel (Fig. 3)

To change the chisel, disconnect the device from
the compressed air source. Unscrew the tension-
ing spring from the cylinder of the chisel hammer
by holding it by the rear bracket. The chisel can
now be changed as described above.
Check the device and tool attachment before each use,
this also includes checking the speed and vibration level.
10. Start-up

Always make sure the product is fully assembled
before commissioning!

Connect the chisel hammer to a performance-fo-
cused compressor or compressed air network. To
do this, use a flexible compressed air hose (Ø 10
mm inner) with quick coupling. Make sure that the
air regulating screw (3) is adjusted so that air can
flow through.
2.
Guide the chisel hammer onto the object to be pro-
cessed. The chisel hammer is put into operation by
pressing the trigger lever (2).

From time to time, the chisel shaft should be lightly
greased with normal lubricating grease.
11. Cleaning
m Attention!
Disconnect the device from the compressed air net-
work before carrying out maintenance and cleaning
work!
• Keep protective devices, air vents and the motor
housing as free of dust and dirt as possible. Rub
the device clean with a clean cloth or blow it off with
compressed air at low pressure.
• We recommend that you clean the device directly
after every use.
• Clean the device at regular intervals using a damp
cloth and a little soft soap. Do not use any cleaning
products or solvents; they could attack the plastic
parts of the device. Make sure that no water can
penetrate the device interior.
12. Storage
Store the product and its accessories in a dark, dry and
frost-free place that is inaccessible to children.
The optimum storage temperature lies between 5 and
30 ˚C.
Store the product in its original packaging. Cover the
product to protect it from dust or moisture. Store the op-
erating manual with the product.
