2 Getting to know the device
The device comprises the scan head, Capture PC, and Viewing PCs. For more
information, please refer to the Technical Data Specification supplied with the
device.
Images are captured on the scan head which is connected to the Capture PC.
The Capture PC can run all software applications. The Viewing PC can run the
Review Admin
application,
application. In a typical installation, the images and database will be stored on
the Capture PC. You can review captured images at any Viewing PC that is
connected to the Capture PC across a network.
2.1 Understanding the equipment
The device is part of a system of networked PCs.
