4.2.2 Replacing the sponge rubber seal
•
To remove the suction plate from the
XS-JET-80-GRABO, follow the
instructions in the chapter Changing the
suction plate.
•
Pull back and hold the catch on one side
of the suction plate (1).
•
Pull out the sponge rubber seal on this
side of the suction plate (2). The lock can
now be released.
•
Repeat this process on the other three
sides of the suction plate.
•
Install the replacement sponge rubber
seal in the same way as for removal.
NOTE: Always make sure that the
replacement sponge rubber seal is tight and
secure.
4.2.3 Changing the filter
A decrease in suction power indicates that the air
filter needs to be cleaned and/or replaced. Make
sure that the air duct is free of blockages or
foreign objects during the filter change.
•
- To remove the suction plate from the
XS-JET-80-GRABO, follow the
instructions in the chapter Changing the
suction plate
•
- Use a Torx key to loosen the four
catches on the air filter housing (1) and
turn the clips 90 degrees (2).
•
- Lift the air filter housing off the XS-JET-
80-GRABO (3) and remove the filter from
the housing.
•
Carry out one of the following steps:

Insert the air filter housing into the XS-
JET-80-GRABO and secure it using the
same method as for removal.
Do not clean the dirty air filter with water!
It can become clogged and unusable.

Clean the air filter mat with
compressed air.
Insert replacement air filter mat.
