The plug for the headset must be a 2.5 mm jack plug while the plug
for the PTT function must be a 3.5 mm jack plug.
After connecting the headset and switching on the walkie-talkie,
increase the volume on the walkie-talkie slowly to prevent damage
to your hearing or the earphones if the volume is too high.
To transmit, press the "PTT" button on the headset. Let go of the
PTT button to switch to receive mode.

12. Troubleshooting

By purchasing this product you have acquired a state-of-the-art
product which operates reliably. Nevertheless, problems or malfunc-
tions may occur. We would therefore like to describe how you can
eliminate possible malfunctions:

The positive terminals of the batteries do
not touch the positive contact spring. The
positive contacts of the rechargeable bat-
teries are too wide.
Use rechargeable batteries with smaller
positive
contacts.
Rechargeable batteries are weak,
recharge the batteries.
