4. Safety instructions

The guarantee will be void if damage is incurred
resulting from non-compliance with these operating
instructions. We assume no liability for any conse-
quential damage!
We do not assume any liability for personal injury or
damage to property caused by incorrect handling or
non-observance of the safety instructions. In such
cases the warranty/guarantee is voided.
• The two walkie-talkies and the wall power supply
must not be modified or rebuilt, as not only the CE
approval will become void but also the warranty/
guarantee.
• The wall power supply complies with safety class II.
It may only be connected to a standard household
230 V~/50 Hz mains supply socket.
• The walkie-talkies and the wall power supply are
only intended for dry indoor use.
• The system components must not be exposed to
extreme temperatures, direct sunlight, intense
vibration or heavy mechanical stress.
• When the system components are taken from a cold
to a warm room (e.g. during transport), condensation
may be produced. The condensation can damage the
product. There is also the danger of a deadly electric
shock! Therefore, you should allow the system com-
ponents to reach room temperature before using
them or connecting the wall power supply to the
mains supply. This process may take several hours.
• Electronic devices are no toys and should be kept
out of the reach of children!
• Never operate the system components when they
are covered. Always ensure sufficient ventilation.
• Please contact a qualified expert if you are not sure
about the safety or the correct use of the system
components.
