11.11 Activate/deactivate handover audio signal

When the "PTT" button is released, a confirmation
beep indicates to the other walkie-talkie partners that
you are done transmitting. This function can be activat-
ed or deactivated.
• Switch off the walkie-talkie.
• Drücken und halten Sie gleichzeitig 3 Sekunden
• Hold down the "CALL" button and the "MENU"
button simultaneously for 3 seconds to switch on the
walkie-talkie. "ON" or "OF" is displayed, depending
on whether the handover audio signal is activated or
deactivated.
• Use the "S" button or the "F" button to select the
desired option (ON=activate confirmation beep,
OF=deactivate confirmation beep).
• Hold down the "MENU" button for three seconds to
switch back to normal mode and save the settings.

11.12 Setting the volume

• Hold down the "MENU" button.
• While you are holding down the "MENU" button,
press the "F" button to set the volume as desired
(1=very low, 4=very high).
• Let go of the "MENU" button and the "F" button to go
back to normal mode.

11.13 Activate/deactivate button lock

• Hold down the "MENU" button.
• While you are holding down the "MENU" button,
press the "PTT" button to activate the button lock. The button lock
symbol (E) is displayed.
• Proceed in the same way to deactivate the button lock.
