Start-up
Moving and unpacking
CAUTION
Risk of injury!
The appliance is bulky. It can injure you
if it tips over.
■ Get another person to help with mov-
ing and installation.
■ Use any available carrying devices.
NOTICE
Risk of damage to property!
Improper handling of the appliance
may result in damage.
■ Do not use sharp objects to unpack
the appliance.
■ Do not use the oven door and door
handle as a step or for lifting.
1. Carefully unpack the appliance and
remove all packaging, plastic moulding,
adhesive strips and foam padding from
the inside, outside and back of the
appliance.
2. If you have sufficient space, we recom-
mend keeping the packaging, at least
during the warranty period.
Cleaning
Thoroughly clean the mini oven as described
in the following sections before using it for the
first time:
– "Cleaning solid plates and appliance sur-
faces" on Page EN-21
– "Cleaning the oven" on Page EN-21.
Start-up
Airflow
Sufficient airflow must be ensured. In order to
do this, the following distances must be kept
to walls:
right:
12 cm
back: 12 cm
top:
30 cm
– The appliance may not be built into a cup-
board.
– Installing the appliance directly under a
worktop or cupboard is not allowed.
– The feet of the appliance may not be re-
moved.
– Do not use the appliance near or beneath
curtains, wall cabinets or other flammable
materials.
– Place the appliance on a heat-resistant,
splash-proof surface.
– Never place the appliance on hot surfaces
(e.g. hotplates) or near open gas flames.
Connecting the appliance
1. Position the mini oven close to a freely
accessible earthed wall socket.
2. Plug the mini oven into a properly installed
earthed wall socket.
The "POWER" LED (17) illuminates to in-
dicate that the appliance is ready for op-
eration.
