■ Never cover or obstruct the appli-
ance's openings.

switched on could start to burn due to
the high temperatures.
■ Do not cover cakes or roasts being
cooked in the oven with baking parch-
ment.
■ If you are preparing foods in oil, fat or
using alcohol, do not leave the oven
unattended. The food may spontane-
ously ignite.
■ Do not allow food, baking parchment
and aluminium foil to come into con-
tact with the heating elements.
■ Do not store temperature-sensitive,
combustible or flammable objects in
the oven. If the appliance is switched
on unintentionally, they may deform
or ignite.
■ Do not use the oven for storage pur-
poses.
■ Never use the oven to heat rooms.
■ If a fire breaks out in the oven, keep
the oven door closed and switch off
the oven. Once the fire has been ex-
tinguished, have the oven checked by
our Service Centre.

Improper use may damage the oven or
cooking utensils.
■ Do not use harsh, abrasive clean-
ers or sharp metal scrapers to clean
the oven door glass, since they can
scratch the surface, which may result
in shattering of the glass.
■ When cleaning the cooking compart-
ment, do not use steel wool, oven
sprays, steam cleaners or high-pres-
sure cleaners. They can damage the
surface. High-pressure cleaners can
cause a short circuit.
■ Note that a steam cleaner is not to
be used.
■ Remove the plug from the socket be-
fore cleaning the oven.
■ The temperature of the oven door
and the exterior surface can get very
while the appliance is in operation.
