• Damage, in particular to:
• Ventilation grilles
• Screw connections
• Media lines
• Electrical cables
• Leaks
• Loose objects
• Loose screw connections or fastenings
• Contact protection on live parts
If defects and hazards become apparent during the inspection, the pump must be shut down immediately.
The pump may only be put into operation if it is in perfect condition.
The chapter 8.1 must be followed.

Fault tables

The following tables describe possible causes of faults and the activities required to rectify them. In the
event of faults that cannot be rectified using the following instructions, please contact Gebr Gardner Den-
ver Schopfheim GmbH.
The pump does not reach the required vacuum

Review
Visual inspection of the pressure/
vacuum line elements (e.g. pipe-
work, fittings, hose clamps)
Visual inspection for damage
Measure slider width
Check filter contamination
Check the dimensions of the
supply line
Check supply lines for blocka-
ges, kinks and deformations
Check throttle elements for ope-
ning condition
Check the direction of rotation
using the direction of rotation

Replacing the faulty supply line

Remove the slider, check and re-
place if damaged or if the minimum
width is not reached
Clean / replace filter
Carry out dimensioning in accordan-
ce with the operating instructions;

Remove foreign objects from the
media line. Repair supply lines if
necessary
Open throttle elements if necessary
The motor installation must be cor-
rected by a qualified electrician.
