4.TIPS AND ADVICE ON INSTALLATION
4.1.Questions about the product?
Observations
The motorised product does not
operate.
The motorised product stops too soon. The crown is incorrectly positionned.
4.2.Replacing a lost or broken Somfy control point
NOTICE
• This reset deletes all the local control points, however the sensors, end limit settings and favourite position (my)
are retained.
• Before performing the following steps, disconnect the solar panel and reconnect it after the last step.
1] Disconnect the drive from the battery and the solar panel for 2 s.
2] Reconnect the drive to the battery for 5 to 15 s.
3] Disconnect the drive for 2 s.
4] Reconnect the drive: the motorised product moves for a few seconds. (If the
motorised product is in the upper or lower end limit, it makes a brief up and
down movement).
5] Press the PROG button on the new control point briefly : the motorised
product moves up and down.
g The new control point is programmed and all the other control points are
deleted.

Possible causes
The battery is discharged.
The wiring is incorrect.
The control point battery is low.
The control point is not compatible.
The control point used has not been
programmed into the drive.
The end limits have been incorrectly set. Readjust the end limits, referring to Re-
Solutions
Refer to the battery instructions guide.
Check the wiring and modify it if
necessary, referring to Wiring.
Check the battery and replace it as
required.
Check the compatibility and replace the
control point if necessary.
Use a programmed control point or
program this control point, referring to
Programming the control point.
Fit the crown correctly, referring to
Assembly.
