The File menu
As a special feature, the DMX Commander 512 requires a USB stick when programming light. All data such as
programs, created fixtures and the patch are saved in the device memory and simultaneously on the USB stick.
This automatically creates a backup copy of all settings. However, the USB stick is not required to call up the
programs. The operator can run shows but cannot change any of the settings without the USB stick.
Note: If an empty USB stick is inserted, it is prepared for operation with the DMX Commander 512. This process
can take up to 10 minutes. The display shows <Checking USB>.

ADVANCED MENU FUNCTIONS
In the <File> menu, the settings of the lighting console can be saved on the
supplied USB stick or data can be loaded from it.
Function
Saves all settings and programs. Use this option to store the console's data on a
new USB stick.
Loads all settings and programs.
Only loads programs; patches and the library remain as before.
In the <Set.> menu, you can change important system settings.
Function
Use this function to upload new firmware to the console. The DMX Commander
512 is checked and tested very intensively before release. However, if an error
occurs or new functions come up, they are implemented via firmware. If you
want to install a new firmware, store it onto a USB stick and then select this
menu item. The password is 1234. Please also note the instructions you receive
with the firmware. You can download firmware updates on the product page at
www.eurolite.de.
This function is used to reset the device to the factory settings. The password for
this is 1234.
The playback settings for the individual lighting programs are made here. This is
described earlier under Setting programs.
This item can be used to set the sensitivity of the microphone or the audio input.
01 is the least sensitive setting, 10 the most sensitive.
