You can control the main functions of this unit
by the infrared remote control unit.
1. Open the battery compartment lid on the
rear panel.
2. Insert two batteries (SUM-3, R6P, AA).
Ensure the batteries are inserted in the
correct polarity (+, —).
3. Close the battery compartment lid.
Note
Incorrect battery use may cause leakage or
bursting. Observe the following precautions:
e Insert the batteries in the correct polarity, as
indicated on the unit.
e Do not mix new batteries with old ones.
e Do not use different kinds of batteries, or
different voltages.
e When the batteries are exhausted or when
the unit is not to be used for a long period of
time, remove the batteries.

Point the remote control unit toward the infra-
red remote control sensor on the front of the
main unit.

Each button has the same
function as the
button similarly named on the main unit, except
the REC and TRACKING -/+ buttons.
POWER button
TRACKING -/+ buttons
To eliminate noise in the playback picture,
use these buttons with the AUTO TRACK-
ING selector on the unit set to OFF/MAN-
UAL.

To start recording, press the two buttons
together.

1. Ouvrirle couvercle du logement a piles, sur
larriére.
2. Installer deux piles (SUM-3, R6P, AA).
Veiller a installer les piles en respectantles
polarités +/-.
3. Fermer le couvercle du logement.
Remarque
Si les piles sont mal utilisées, elles risquent de
fuir ou d'exploser. Observer les précautions
suivantes:
e Installeries piles enrespectantl'agencement
des polarités indiqué sur la télecommande.
e Ne pas mélanger de pile usagée avec une
nouvelle.
¢ Ne pas utiliser de piles de différents types
ou de différentes tensions.
¢ Quand les piles sont épuisées, ou quand la
télécommande ne doit pas étre utilisée pen-
dant longtemps, enlever les piles.
