PROGRAM
Stripe patterns may appear during a
unit is turned on, depending on the quality of reception of
the
station. This is neither a malfunction
nor the player. If stripes appear while watching the TV, or
when watching
the TV for long periods of time, turn the
player off.
CONDENSATION
Moisture will form in the operating section of the player
if the player is brought from cool surroundings
warm
room
or if the temperature
suddenly. When this happens, player's performance will
be impaired.
To preventthis, let the player stand in its new surroundings
for about an hour before switching it on, or make sure
that the room temperature rises gradually.
The same, symptoms of condensation may be caused during
summer, if the player is exposed to the breeze from an air
conditioner. In such cases change the location of the player.
POWER-CORD
CAUTION
Handlethe power cord bythe plug.Do not pull outthe plug by tugging
the cord and never touch the power cord when your hands are wet
as this could cause a short circuit or electric shock. Do not place the
unit, a piece of furniture, etc., on the power cord, or pinch the cord.
Never make a knot in the cord or tie it with other cords. The power
cords should be routed such that they are not likelyto be stepped on.
A damaged power cord can causefire or give you an electrical shock.
Checkthe power cord once in awhile. When you find it damaged,ask
your nearest PIONEER authorized service center or your dealer for a
replacement.
CLEANING
CARE
Use a soft, dry cloth for cleaning. For stubborn dirt, soak the
cloth in a solution of household detergent diluted using 1 part
detergent to five or six partswater, wring well first andwipe.
Use a dry cloth to wipe it dry. Do not use any volatile agents
such as benzine or paint thinner, as they may damage the
surface of the player.
Abnormal functioning of this unit may be caused by
lightning,
static
electricity,
interference. To restore normal operation, tum the
power off and then on again, or unplug the AC power
cord and then plug it in again.

NOTE IMPORTANTE
SUR LE CABLE
Tenir le cäble d'alimentation par la fiche. Ne pas débrancher Ia prise
en tirant sur le cable et ne pas toucher le cäble avec Ies mains
mouillées. Cela risque de provoquer un court-circuit ou un choc
électrique. Ne pas poser I'appareil ou un meuble sur Ie cåble. Ne pas
pincer Ie cåble. Ne pas faire de noeud avec le cåble ou l'attacher
d'autres cåbles. Les cåbles d'atimentation doivent étre posés de
fagon ånepasétre écrasés. Un cåbleabtmé peut provoquer un risque
d'incendie ou un choc électrique. Vérifier Ie cåble d'alimentation de
temps en temps. Contacter le service aprés-vente PIONEER Ie plus
proche ou le revendeur pour un remplacement.
NETTOYAGE
Pour le nettoyer, utiliser un chiffon doux et sec. En cas de
tache tenace, tremper le chiffon dans une solution de détergent
domestique contenant une partie de détergent pour cing ou
six parties d'eau; bien essorer le chiffon et essuyer. Utiliser
un chiffon sec pour sécher.
