Lumbar spine support
MAGICLINE can be equipped with a velcro-type lum-
®
bar spine support�
Simply fasten it by means of a velcro connection be-
low the cover of the backrest at the therapeutically
required height�
Lateral side supports
For this item two designs can be obtained for assembly
to MAGICLINE , a rigid one and a design with swing-
®
away holder� Both are fastened to the mount rails on
the back of the seat shell by means of two hexagon
socket screw keys (Fig� 18)�
Swing away the lateral side support
Loosen the catch by pressing the red button on the side
of the pressure pads� Then let the lateral side support
swing away� When the lateral side support swing back,
the catch is engaged audibly and thus the lateral side
support is fixed�

7.2.3. Upper extremities

Armrests
MAGICLINE can be equipped with different armrests�
®
Fasten the armrest by loosening the fixing lever at the
armrest mount (Fig� 19/1) on the right and left on the
sides of the seat shell, inserting the headrest holding
device and tightening the lever again�
The height of the arm rest can be adjusted using the
lower clamping lever on the universal holder� (Fig� 19/2)
The inclination of the arm rest can be adjusted via the
ratchet of the upper clamping lever�
Important!
Always release only one clamping lever
and make the adjustment here� Only
continue with the next one after the
previous one has been secured�

7.2.4. Head

Headrest systems
MAGICLINE can be equipped with different headrest
®
pressure pads� The example shows the ALULINE head-
rest system�
Fasten the headrest by loosening the fixing lever at the
headrest mount found at the upper part of the back-
rest (Fig� 20), inserting the headrest holding device and
tightening the lever again�
The same method is used when fixing the head rest
with a wing screw� First the screw is loosened, the
the head rest is adjusted, finally the screw is tightened
once again�
