eine erste Überprüfung vornehmen.
Decoder wird sehr heiß bzw. fängt an zu qualmen.
► Trennen Sie sofort die Verbindung zur Versor-
gungsspannung!
● Mögliche Ursache: Kurzschluss. Der Decoder
berührt an einer Stelle die Fahrzeugmasse.
Überprüfen Sie die Anschlüsse. Es ist möglich,
dass der Decoder durch den Kurzschluss irre-
parabel beschädigt wurde.
● Mögliche Ursache: Ein Motoranschluss ist mit
Lokmasse verbunden. Trennen Sie den An-
schluss von Lokmasse.
Lok fährt nach Programmieren schlecht / gar nicht.
● Mögliche Ursache: Die eingegebenen Werte für
die CVs sind unstimmig. Führen Sie einen De-
coder-Reset aus und programmieren Sie den
Decoder neu.
Lok fährt im Digitalbetrieb plötzlich sehr schnell.
● Mögliche Ursache: Störsignale aus der Anlage
haben den Decoder auf Analogbetrieb umge-
schaltet. Da oft nicht festzustellen ist, welche
Ursache die Störsignale haben, ist es ratsam,
die automatische Analogerkennung während
des Digitalbetriebs auszuschalten.
Ein Ausgang lässt sich nicht einschalten.
● Mögliche Ursache: In den CV#53 bis 58 sind
für einen Ausgang Werte eingestellt, die sich
gegenseitig ausschließen. Ändern Sie die Wer-
te für CV#53 bis 58.
Lok fährt nicht im Analogbetrieb.
● Mögliche Ursache: Der Analogbetrieb ist aus-
geschaltet. Ändern Sie den Wert für CV#29.
CV-Werte nicht über RailCom auslesbar.
● Mögliche Ursache: RailCom ist ausgeschaltet.
Ändern Sie den Wert für CV#29 (addieren Sie
„8" zum Eingabewert hinzu).
Licht geht beim Hochschalten der Fahrstufen an
und aus oder es lässt sich nicht ein- / ausschalten.
● Mögliche Ursache: Fahrstufenmodus des De-
coders und der digitalen Zentrale stimmen nicht
überein. Bsp.: Die Zentrale befindet sich im Mo-
dus 28 Fahrstufen, der Decoder jedoch im Mo-
dus 14 Fahrstufen. Ändern Sie den Fahrstufen-
modus an der Zentrale und / oder am Decoder.
9. Garantiebestimmungen
Jeder Decoder wird vor seiner Auslieferung auf
vollständige Funktion überprüft. Der Garantie-
zeitraum beträgt 2 Jahre ab Kaufdatum des De-
coders. Tritt in dieser Zeit ein Fehler auf, setzen
Sie sich bitte direkt mit Viessmann in Verbindung.
Wird nach Überprüfung des Decoders ein Her-
stell- oder Materialfehler festgestellt, wird Ihnen
der Decoder kostenlos instand gesetzt.

► Disconnect the system from the mains immedi-
ately!
● Possible cause: Short circuit. The decoder is
connected to locomotive or carriage ground.
Check the connections. A short circuit can re-
sult in irreparable damage.
● Possible cause: The connection of the motor
is connected to locomotive ground. Disconnect
the connection from locomotive ground.
After programming the decoder the locomotive
does not run or runs badly.
● Possible cause: The set values for the CV are
inconsistent. Perform a decoder reset and pro-
gram the decoder anew.
In digital mode the locomotive suddenly runs
very fast.
● Possible cause: Interfering signals from the
layout have switched the decoder to analogue
mode. As the origin of the interfering signals´
often cannot be found, it is advisable to switch
off the automatic recognition of the analogue
mode during digital operation.
An output cannot be switched on.
● Possible cause: The values set in CV#53 to 58
for an output, contradict one another. Alter the
values for CV#53 to 58.
The locomotive does not run in analogue mode.
● Possible cause: The analogue mode is
switched off. Alter the value for CV#29.
The lighting goes on and off when the speed
levels are turned up or the lighting cannot be
switched on or off.
● Possible cause: The speed mode of the de-
coder and the digital control unit do not corre-
spond. Example: The central is set to the mode
28 speed levels, but the decoder to the mode
14 speed levels. Change the speed mode at
the central and / or at the decoder.
If you cannot find the problem, please return the
decoder for repair (address below).
9. Warranty
Every decoder is fully tested before delivery.
The warranty period is 2 years from the date of
purchase. Should a failure occur during this period
please contact your dealer or Viessmann directly.
Should the inspection of the decoder indicate
faulty material or workmanship then we will re-
place this decoder for free of charge.
Our warranty becomes null and void in case of
