6 - USING THE COMPRESSOR
IMPORTANT: for optimal use of the compressor is
recommended to respect the times of continuous use, and
the shutdown time (for cooling) reported in the table.

PRELIMINARY CHECKS BEFOR USING FOR THE
FIRST TIME
The operator must check that the compressor is supplied with:
- use and maintenance manual;
If the compressor is sold on the customer/user must provide the purchaser
with a complete, undamaged use and maintenance manual.
6.1.1
Inserting filtration cartridge
At the time of delivery the compressor has no filtration cartridge fitted: the
cartridge is supplied together with the compressor in a sealed vacuum-
packed bag found inside the packaging.
For instructions on how to insert the filtration cartridge see section "7.9
Purifier filter".
6.1.2
Checking for proper electrical connection
Check for proper connection of electrical phases by checking that the
cooling fan rotates in the direction indicated by the arrow (a) on the fan
cover.
The warning light (b) comes on if direction of rotation is incorrect.
If the direction of rotation is not as indicated by the arrow it will be
necessary to disconnect the electrical power supply and invert two of the
three phases on the main power lead.
DANGER: Before carrying out this task disconnect the
compressor from the mains power supply.
Do not invert or disconnect the ground (earth) wire (yellow/
green).
ATTENTION: only invert the phase cables on the plug. Never
modify the electrical system of the control panel or of the
motor.
The air flow generated by the fan must be directed towards
the compressor and not outwardly.
6.1.3
Refill hoses connection
At the time of delivery the compressor has no refill hoses fitted: the refill
hose is supplied together with the compressor inside the packaging.

Der Bediener muss überprüfen, dass dem Kompressor Folgendes beigelegt ist:
- Bedienungs- und Wartungshandbuch;
Sollte die Maschine als „Gebrauchter Kompressor" weiterverkauft
werden, muss der Kunde/Benutzer dem Käufer das Bedienungs- und
Wartungshandbuch vollständig und unversehrt übergeben.
6.1.1
Der Kompressor wird ohne eingesetzte Filterpatrone geliefert. Diese wird
vakuumverpackt in einem versiegelten Beutel in der Verpackung beigelegt.
Zum Einsetzen der Filterpatrone siehe Abschnitt „7.9 Reinigungsfilter".
6.1.2
Um den korrekten Anschluss der elektrischen Phasen zu überprüfen, muss
kontrolliert werden, dass sich das Kühlgebläse in der vom Pfeil (a) am
Schutzgehäuse des Gebläses angegebenen Richtung dreht.
Sollte die Drehrichtung verkehrt sein, leuchtet die Kontrolllampe (b) auf.
Sollte die Drehrichtung des Gebläses nicht der Pfeilrichtung entsprechen,
ist die Stromzufuhr zu unterbrechen und zwei der drei Phasen müssen an
der Hauptstromversorgung umgekehrt werden.

6.1.3
Der Kompressor wird ohne Füllschläuche geliefert. Diese sind dem
Kompressor in der Verpackung beigelegt.

6 - VERWENDUNG DES KOMPRESSORS
WARUNG: für eine optimale Verwendung des Kompressors
wird empfohlen, die Zeitangaben für kontinuierlichen Betrieb
und Ausschaltzeiten (für die Abkühlung) einzuhalten, die in
der Tabelle angegeben sind.

GEFAHR: Vor diesem Eingriff die Stromzufuhr zum Kompressor
unterbrechen.
Das Erdungskabel (gelb/grün) weder vertauschen noch trennen.
ACHTUNG: die Phasenkabel nur am Stecker vertauschen,
keinesfalls das elektrische System des Bedienfelds oder des
Motors ändern.
Der vom Gebläse erzeugte Luftstrom muss in Richtung des
Kompressors und nicht nach außen geleitet werden.
