The number of fan motors varies depending on the unit year of manufacture
Units from year of manufacture 2004 – 2011 and year of manufacture 2011 – 2020
only have one fan motor.
1. Disconnect the dummy plug from the ventilation motor and connect the bus cable
from the condensation hood [
2. Check the cable routing to the fan motor. If there is still any cable length remaining,
pull the bus cable straight and secure the rest of the cable in the electrical compart-
ment with a cable tie. Tighten the cable gland.
3. Fix the cable to the rear side of the unit with the self-adhesive cable holders supplied.
4. Mount the left side panel of the unit (Combi-Duo: upper unit).
For Combi-Duo: First connect the second bus cable in the lower unit before you connect
the condensation hood to the unit (see
5.2.3 Connecting condensation hoods to the power supply
Note the colour coding of wires:

1. Connect the mains plug of the condensation hood to the power supply.

1. Turn the unit on (Combi-Duo: both units).

When starting up, the unit recognises the condensation hood and establishes the
connection independently.
