Sharp-edged panels
Risk of cuts when taking off the UltraVent Plus condensation hood lid.
Wear protective gloves during installation and maintenance.
7.1 Installing the condensation hood
Damage to unit
When putting up the condensation hood on the unit, all unit panels must be fixed.
Cable damage
Watch out for the cable routing when putting up the condensation hood. The cables
may be squeezed and damaged during placement.

The unit on which the UltraVent Plus condensation hood is to be installed is discon-
nected from the mains.

All unit panels are fixed.

Front panel, side panels, seal box and heat shield are not yet installed. The panels from
the adapter kit must be used.

The front panel and side panel of the adapter kit are ready. Note the right- or left-
hinge orientation.

Only necessary with Combi-Duo: Remove the bracket from the extension of the
lower air outlet and the exhaust air connection of the upper unit.
1. Remove the front panel, side panels, the condensate collector. Disassemble the heat
shield.
2. Loosen 2 screws on the right and 1 screw on the left on the unit cover to secure the
condensation hood [
The number of screws can vary depending on the unit sizes.
3. Place the condensate collector on the ventilation pipe of the unit. The seal box must
be flush with the rear panel [
4. Fill the condensate collector with water until is runs out via the vent pipe. The liquid is
needed for the functionality of the siphon characteristics.
