The basic autopilot settings after installation
The "Setup" menu contains all the settings which are required during installation of the autopilot system.
These settings are made in the recommended manner (see p. 41) by the person installing the system on
completion of the installation work, and cannot be changed while the autopilot is actively steering (pilot
operation).
You should not subsequently change the settings made in the "Setup" menu.
Changing these settings can impair the operational reliability of your autopilot system.
In order to prevent inadvertent alteration of the settings, these programming functions are not available during
normal operation (standby and pilot modes).
Proceed as follows to enter the "Setup" menu:
Hold the "PROG" key depressed while you switch the power to the autopilot on.
After switching on, the programming menu is called up immediately.
Release the "PROG" key to avoid excessively fast scrolling through the programming functions.
