BASIC SETTINGS
The basic settings for the autopilot (AP-Adj.)
The "AP- Adj" menu contains all the settings which it may be necessary to change at a later date.
These settings cannot be changed while the autopilot is actively steering (pilot operation).
Setting the rudder deadband (Rud-D)
This parameter is used to set the rudder deadband. The rudder deadband is a factor which indicates how
great the lateral course deviation may be before the autopilot steers against it.
The bandwidth for rudder deviation without any reaction from the autopilot is larger or smaller depending on
the setting.
Set the rudder deadband in the range of 0 to 20 as follows:

Setting the counter rudder (C/R)
This parameter is used to set the amount of counter rudder applied. When your vessel swings round to a
new set course, the value set here influences the extent to which it runs past the heading set. This determines
the extent of counter rudder motion in relation to the course deviation.
The larger the value set, the stronger the counter rudder applied.
Set the counter rudder factor in the range of 0 to 20 as follows:
