BASIC SETTINGS
Setting the trimming rate (Trim)
This parameter is used to set the strength of the autopilot's reaction to disruptions which constantly push the
vessel to one side. The higher the trimming rate set (0 to 20), the more sensitively the autopilot reacts to and
counteracts course deviations caused, for example, by wind, waves or the difference in speed between twin
engines.
Proceed as follows to set the trimming rate:

Setting of the reaction speed to course deviations (NTrim)
This parameter sets the speed at which the autopilot reacts to changes in the course deviation (Cross Track
Error = XTE) when steering by GPS navigator.
The reaction speed increases with increasing values on a scale of 1 to 10.
Set the value as follows:

Setting of the reaction speed to changes in wind direction (WTrim)
This parameter is used to set the speed at which the autopilot reacts to changes in the wind direction when
steering in WIND mode. The settings are between 1 and 10.
The higher the setting, the faster the autopilot reacts. Set the value as follows:
