The MODE key
The MODE key can be used when the system is on standby to call up and select all the operating modes
on the display.
The modes are called up by repeated pressing of the MODE key. Press the ENTER key to select the mode
displayed.
Example: COMPASS mode, course set 182°.
Further available modes are as follows:

WIND
(Steering by wind angle)

NAV
(Steering by navigation receiver)
WIND mode is only available when a wind measuring system with NMEA 0183 interface is connected.
NAV mode is only available with a navigation receiver with NMEA 0183 interface is connected.
If the mode for one of these systems is selected and the system is not fitted, an error message (NoDa = No
Data) is displayed and the acoustic alarm is activated. Activation of pilot operation is not possible.
Example: NAV mode, no navigation receiver connected.
The acoustic alarm is turned off by selecting a different mode with the MODE key.
