Lay the cable to the Pilot Box. If necessary, the white terminal strip can be removed for better routing. Ensure
that the wiring is reconnected in the correct colour sequence.
Wiring errors can cause irreparable damage to the equipment which is not covered by the warranty.
The white terminal strip of the control unit is to be plugged into connector PL14 in the PILOT BOX. Firmly
connect the cable screen to the mounting lug with two cable ties (see installation instructions for VDO PILOT
BOX 609/619).
Connecting the lighting
Terminal strip on the display unit:
Pin 19 = Lighting plus
Pin 20 = Lighting minus
Installation of a second display unit
Installation of a second display unit is performed in the same way as that of the main display unit.
The second VDO LOGIC autopilot display unit is connected to PL15 as shown below.
