11. Use in combination with Dual Move motor
When Dual Pex is connected to Dual Move, a reference point can be defi ned to control the fi le approach.
Press the SET-key to defi ne the position of the reference point, between strip 00 and strip 06 ("1" marker). The new position is

automatically saved and sent to the connected Dual Move.
Please refer to the Dual Move instructions for use for details.
12. Testing the device
It is strongly recommended to regularly control the device using the tester.
Replace the measuring wire by the tester.

The green strips shall appear and the displayed strip number shall be between "02" and "04".
• If the indications are not the expected ones, please check that that the tester is properly connected. If
the default remains, stop using Dual Pex and contact your after-sales service.
13. Maintenance
13. 1. Preamble
• Wear gloves and follow carefully the instructions to avoid cross contamination when performing
maintenance.
• Refer to your national guidelines, standards and requirements for cleaning, disinfection and
sterilization.
• The device and its components have not been disinfected or sterilized before fi rst use. Please
follow the necessary steps before the fi rst treatment.
• Cleaning and disinfection protocols to be applied are specifi c to each component. Be sure to
follow the right procedure below when performing daily maintenance.
13. 2. Procedure
• The procedure below shall be followed from step 1 to 5 before the fi rst treatment and after every
subsequent treatment.

Remove debris under running water
(except electronic parts), and then wipe
off all components.
Wipe the components with a piece
of gauze impregnated with Ethanol
(Ethanol 70 to 80% vol.). Make sure the
components are dry before next step.
Pack components in sterilization
pouches.
Warning
If use of washer-disinfectors, use only
approved devices according to EN ISO
15883 and refer to their manufacturer's
instructions for use.
Use pouches which resist to a temperature
up to 141°C and comply with EN ISO
11607.
