3. Indication
This apex locator is used to detect the apex of root canal.This device must only be used in hospital environments,
clinics or dental offices by qualified dental employees and not used in the oxygen-rich environment.
4. Contraindications
We recommend not to use the medical device on patients with heart pacemakers or other electrical implants.
The device shall not be used to treat children or pregnant women.
5. Operating and storage conditions
• Store and operate the device in a safe and dry environment.
• Avoid the exposure to liquids and direct or indirect heat sources.
• To comply with electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) information, use the device away from fl uorescent
lamps, radio transmitters, remote controls or mobile RF communication devices.
• If malfunctions occur during the treatment, turn the unit off and contact your after-sales service.
• Never open or repair the device by yourself, otherwise the warranty will not apply.
6. Charging

• Keep the device away from any heating source and fl ammable gas.
• Charge the device when low or no power. Too many charge / discharge cycles may reduce the battery
shelf-life.
• Use the specifi ed adapter and battery only. Other models may damage the device.
• Do not use the device while charging it.
