APPLICATION N° 4: latch and/or lighting command
(via the IP door module)
The SIP relay can be used as a switching device (latch, lighting, etc.) directly
controlled by the door module. This provides protection against any attempts
to interfere with the electrical latch or lighting circuit from inside the switch
cupboard. It also makes it possible to simultaneously control another installa-
tion (latch/lighting) parallel to an installation (latch/lighting) already controlled
by the IP door module. A connection/call (communication) is not needed to
control the SIP relay. The activation duration of relays K1 and/or K2 can be set
in the SIP relay configuration.
Configuration:
In the SIP relay "Expert configuration" menu, select "Relays":
For relay 1:
• select the "Controlled by DTMF" function for relay 1 (K1),
• validate command authorisation (Remote I/O) for relay 1 (K1),
• fill in the IP door module IP address (e.g. 192.168.42.41) which will control
relay 1 (K1).
and/or
For relay 2:
• select the "Controlled by DTMF" function for relay 2 (K2),
• validate command authorisation (Remote I/O) for relay 2 (K2),
• fill in the IP door module IP address (e.g. 192.168.42.41) which will control
relay 2 (K2).
