APPLICATION N° 1: door opening, automatic control
or other type of system command (following an
indoor call)
When a call is made from an indoor telephone, the SIP relay is used as a
switching device (latch, automatic control system, barrier, lighting, etc.). The
switching of each relay is controlled by DTMF-based signalling. The activation
time of relays K1 and K2 can be set when the SIP relay is configured.
Configuration:
Go on to the ISS-300 intercom SIP server to configure the SIP relay as an
outdoor device (device type: custom).
In the "Expert configuration" menu of the SIP relay, select "SIP" and fill in:
• the relay's SIP user ID and SIP authentication ID fields (e.g. 202),
• the relay SIP authentication PIN (default password: 202abc).
These parameters are the usernames previously configured on the ISS-300
and which define the SIP relay on the network.
Security warning: change the default passwords in order to boost your instal-
lation's security.
