APPLICATION N° 2: secondary signalling (following
an outdoor call)

When a call from an outdoor telephone is made, the SIP relay is used as the
switching device of a secondary signalling unit (e.g. audible warning or flashing
lighting). The incoming call button triggers the SIP relay and calls the defined
extension/call group. Relays K1 and/or K2 are activated when an outdoor call
is made and remain so throughout the duration of the call (ringing). When an
indoor call is picked up (communication), each relay is deactivated according
to the duration set in the SIP relay configuration.

Configuration:
SIP CALL
On the ISS-300 intercom server, configure the SIP relay as an indoor device
(device type: custom) allocated to a call group.
In the SIP relay "Expert configuration" menu, select "SIP" and fill in:
• the relay SIP user ID and SIP authentication ID field (e.g. 303),
• the relay SIP authentication PIN (default password: 303abc).
These parameters are the usernames previously configured on the ISS-300
and which define the SIP relay on the network.
