Expert configuration
"SIP" tab
This is the configuration required for connecting up to a SIP server.
• SIP Server indicates the SIP server IP address (here it is the ISS-300 and its
default address is 192.168.42.1).
• Port is the network port for SIP signalling (default port: 5060).
• SIP Domain indicates the IP address of the server in a local network. By
default, this is the same address as the SIP Server field.
• SIP User ID is the SIP relay user account number, as defined on the ISS-300
SIP server (default ID chosen: 211).
• SIP Auth ID is generally identical to the SIP User ID (if no specific authenti-
cation ID has been pre-defined).
• SIP Auth PIN is the password for the SIP User ID (default password: 211abc
for the 211 code allocated).
• Display name is for information purposes only.

"Advanced SIP Settings" tab
This is for the advanced settings for the connection to an IP telephone instal-
lation or a SIP server other than the ISS-300. These advanced settings must
be configured by an experienced system administrator.
Advanced SIP settings
• DTMF mode: this defines the way in which DTMF signalling is processed
(Inband: DTMF ring tones transmitted as audio data; Outbound (RFC2833):
DTMF digits transmitted via the RTP protocol; SIP Info: DTMF digits trans-
mitted via the SIP protocol).
• PRACK support: activates or deactivates the SIP Provisional Acknowledge-
ment extension (deactivated by default).
• DTMF payload type: displays user data.
• Required proxy features: proxy server identification.
• NAT Traversal: defines the type of NAT.
• Local ports: local port number to be used by the SIP relay during SIP ex-
changes (default port: 5060) and by the associated RTP flows (default port:
6000).
• SIP registration: Timeout and keep-alive interval (in seconds).
