User safety
If the system has been installed by qualified personnel in com-
pliance with the installation manual, there are no risks for the
user. Safety, however, is also related to correct use, as specified
in the manual; and the user must entrust tall the operations de-
scribed in the installation manual to a qualified professional.
Check that installers and those managing the system are qual-
ified, in compliance with the regulations in force in the country
where the product is installed.
This appliance uses and generates radio waves: if it is not in-
stalled and used as directed, it may cause interference with the
reception of radio and television programmes.
However, in special cases this may happen even if the instruc-
tions provided are followed.

Preparing for installation
In the case of intermediate flooring, terraces, roofs or
other similar structures, consult a building engineer.
Check whether lifting equipment (cranes, etc.) is re-
quired for handling and installing the hot tub.
The site where the hot tub will be installed must be de-
signed to ensure the possible removal and relocation
of the hot tub itself, if necessary.
Please see local regulations and/or contact your local
authorities or a professional for information on fenc-
ing and protective barriers (and the related lighting
and safety systems) to prevent children from acciden-
tally accessing the hot tub.
Prolonged sun exposure could damage the material
of which is made the spa shell, due to its capacity to
absorb heat (dark colours in particular). Don't leave
the spa to sun exposure without adequate protec-
tion when not in use (cover thermal, gazebo, etc.). Any
damage arising by not following these warnings are
not covered by the guarantee.
For outdoor installations, please take into account
the atmospheric conditions at the installation site
(risk of frost, etc.).
Where there is a risk of frost, the drainage pipes must
be suitably sloping towards the relevant drainage
point and be fitted with drainage valves.
For indoor installation, it is necessary to remember
that water evaporation from the spa (especially where
high temperatures are involved) can cause very high
levels of humidity. Natural or forced ventilation helps
to maintain personal comfort and reduce damage to
the building. Jacuzzi Europe refuses all responsibility
for any damage caused by excessive humidity. Con-
sult a specialist for indoor installation.
The hot tub must be installed in such a way that any
water (due to leaks and/or weather) drains away from
the hot tub (ensure there is no stagnant water).
Note: To reduce heat loss, use an insulating material be-
tween the bottom of the hot tub and the area it is resting
on. This material must be suitable for use in environments
that may contain significant concentrations of chlorides and
acidic substances such as swimming pools and hot tubs.
Make sure any paving, furnishings, walls, etc. present
in areas adjacent to the hot tub are suitable for use in
the conditions mentioned above.
Place the hot tub away from glass and/or reflective
surfaces in order to avoid any possible damage.
