Cleaning the Machine
Service Interval: Before each use or daily

WARNING
The machine may dislodge material from
under the machine housing.
• Wear eye protection.
• Stay in the operating position (behind the
handlebar).
• Do not allow bystanders in the area.

Shut off the machine, remove the electric-start
button, and remove the battery; refer to

Use a brush or compressed air to remove grass
and debris from the motor housing and the
surrounding deck areas.

Store the machine, battery pack, and
charger only in temperatures that are within the

Preparing the Machine for
Storage
1.
Clean the machine.
2.
Remove the electric-start key from the
electric-start switch.
3.
Remove the battery pack and check it for
damage.
Note:
Do not store the machine with the battery
pack installed.
4.
Charge the battery pack until 2 or 3 LED
indicators turn green on the battery.
Important:
Do not store a fully charged or
fully depleted battery
5.
Check the blade for wear or damage. If the
blade is dull, have it sharpened; if the blade is
damaged, replace it.
6.
Tighten all nuts, bolts, and screws.
7.
Store the machine, battery pack, and battery
charger in a cool, clean, dry place.

Store the machine, electric-start key, battery
pack, and battery charger away from
children.
•
Keep the machine, battery pack, and battery
charger away from corrosive agents, such as
garden chemicals and de-icing salts.
•
Do not store the battery pack outside or a
vehicle.
Preparing the Machine for
the Operation
1.
Charge the battery back until the left indicator
light turns green on the charger or all 4 LED
indicators turn green on the battery.
2.
Insert the battery pack into the machine; refer
to

13).
