The machine is low-maintenance. It's not necessary to dismount any parts of the machine. Repairs
only by specialists!

2.4 Safety devices of the metal grinding machine MSM 100L

In the construction of the machine there are the following safety devices:
Safety cap against inadvertently starting + emergency stop switch (combo)
Safety cover of the grinding belt made of Perspex.

2.5 Remaining risks

Even when you take care of the safety instructions there are some remaining risks:
Danger of injuries for the hands/fingers by the grinding belt (especially at small work piec-
es) during operation.
Use pliers for this!
Danger of injuries by contact with voltage-carrying parts.
Hearing damages when the customer doesn't use protection.
These risks can be minimized when all the safety instruction are applied, the machine is main-
tained well and the machine is operated by specialists. Never the less your healthy common
sense and your technical training are the most important things for operating a machine like
the MSM 100L.

Climbing onto the machine is forbidden! Heavy injuries by fall-
ing down or by tilting of the machine are possible.
The machine shall only be used by trained persons.
Non authorized persons, especially children, shall be kept
away from the work area.
Do not wear loose clothing, long hair openly or loose jewel-
lery like necklaces etc. when operating the machine
They might be catched by rotating parts and cause serious
injuries.
Use proper safety clothing and devices when operating the
machine (safety gloves, safety shoes ...)!
Never leave the running machine alone. Before leaving the
working area you have to turn off the machine and wait till the
belt stands still.
Before any maintenance you have to disconnect the panel saw
from the power source.
Never use the plugged cable for transporting or manipulating
the machine.
Always wear hearing protection and safety goggles!
Do not touch the belt when the machine is running.
