• Children should not be allowed to
play with the appliance nor should
they have access to the appliance
when left unattended.
• Cleaning and user maintenance
must not be carried out by children
unless they are supervised.
• Keep children away from the door

• Do not allow children to play with the
packaging film. They may get caught
up in this or suffocate.
• Prevent children from pulling small
parts from the device or taking them
out of the accessory bag and putting

Risks when handling the
appliance
Fire hazard!
• Only ever operate the oven with the
oven door closed.
• Always turn the oven dial and tem-
perature controller to zero after the
automatic shut-down!
• Do not cover cakes or roasts be-
ing cooked in the oven with baking
parchment. Do not allow food, bak-
ing parchment and aluminium foil to
come into contact with the heating
elements.
• Do not place food to be grilled too
far back near the end of the heating
element. It is particularly hot there.
Fatty foods can catch fire.
• Do not store temperature-sensitive,

combustible or flammable objects in
the oven! If the appliance is switched
on unintentionally they may deform
or ignite.
• Do not use the oven for storage pur-
poses.
• If you are preparing foods in oil, fat
or using alcohol, do not leave the
cooker unattended! Food may ignite
of its own accord.
• In case of an oven fire: Do not open
the oven door!
• In case of cookware fire: Put the lid
on immediately!
• Never extinguish burning oil or fat
with water!
• If a fire starts, immediately turn all
switches to zero and switch off the
automatic circuit breakers and/or
unscrew the fuses. To extinguish the
fire, use a suitable fire extinguisher
with the designation 'F' or a fire blan-
ket.
• Once the fire has been extinguished,
have the appliance checked by our
service team (see „
note!" on page GB-26).
• If the external cooling fan is broken,
the appliance can quickly overheat.
