• Read these "SAFETY PRECAUTIONS" carefully before installing.
• The precautions shown here are classified into the following 2 types.
Observe all the following, since each contains important information regarding safety.
WARNING ..........Improper handling may most likely result in serious injury or death.
CAUTION ...........Improper handling may result in minor or moderate injury or property damage.
• After completing installation, conduct a trial operation to check for faults and explain to the customer how
to operate and maintain the unit by following the operation manual.
Additionally, ask the customer to keep this installation manual together with the operation manual in a
handy place for future reference.
WARNING
• Ask your local dealer or a qualified person to carry out the installation work.
Improper installation may result in water leak, electric shock, or fire.
• Follow this installation manual and perform installation work properly.
Improper installation may result in water leakage, electric shocks or a fire.
• Be sure to use only the specified parts and accessories for installation.
Failure to do so may result in UV streamer air purifier unit falling, water leak, electric shock, fire, etc.
• Install in a place that can withstand the weights of the indoor unit and the UV streamer air purifier unit.
Insufficient strength may result in injury due to falling of the indoor unit and UV streamer air purifier unit.
In addition, it may result in unpleasant chattering noise due to vibration of the indoor and UV streamer air
purifier units.
• Conduct the specified installation work to ensure preparedness for strong winds, typhoons, and earthquakes.
Improper installation may result in an accident due to falling of the units, etc.
• Be sure the electrical work is carried out by a qualified electrician using a dedicated circuit, not by adding
wiring to an existing circuit, and in accordance with the installation manual and Technical Standards
Relating to Electrical Equipment.
Insufficient capacity or poor construction of the power supply circuit may result in electric shock or fire.
