1. Load a prerecorded tape.
2. Set the DOLBY NR switches.
e Always set the switches to the same positions that were used
for recording.
3. Set the REV MODE switch (see page 14).
4. Set the stereo amplifier for tape playback.
5. Press the playback (> or 4) button.
To stop playback temporarily
Press the pause (HH) button.
€ To resume playback, either press the pause (EH) button again,
or press the playback (® or «) button.
To stop playback
Press the stop ( M ) button.
MUSIC SEARCH
(Skipping forward or backward to play back a desired selection)
By searching for and detecting the blank spaces between record-
ed selections, the music search function can skip forward or back-
ward automatically to beginning of a designated selection and begin
playing that selection. The music search function can skip forward
or backward a maximum
15 selections.
During Forward Playback
When you wish to skip to the next selection or a later one, press
the fast forward (PP) button as many times as the number of selec-
tions to be skipped. When you wish to listen to the current selec-
tion from the beginning, press the fast reverse ( 4q) button once.
When you wish to skip to the previous selection or an earlier one,
press the fast reverse ( <4) button as many times as the number
of selections to be skipped, plus one.
During Reverse Playback
When you wish to skip to the next selection or a later one, press
the fast reverse ( <4) button as many times as the number of selec-
tions to be skipped. When you wish to listen to the current selec-
tion from the beginning, press the fast forward (PP) button once.
When you wish to skip to the previous selection or an earlier one,
press the fast forward (B®) button as many times as the number
of selections to be skipped, plus one.

REPRODUCTION
1. Insérer une cassette enregistrée.

3. Régler le commutateur REV MODE

4. Régler l'amplificateur stéréo pour une reproduction de
bande.
5. Appuyer sur la touche de reproduction (> ou «).
Pour arréter provisoirement la reproduction
Appuyer sur la touche de pause (BB).

Pour reprendre la reproduction, appuyer de nouveau sur la tou-
che de pause (BH) ou appuyer sur la touche de reproduction (>
ou 4).
Pour arréter la reproduction
Appuyer sur la touche d'arrêt ( E).
RECHERCHE DE SELECTION MUSICALE
(Saut en avant ou en arriére pour la reproduction d'une sélec-
tion désirée).
En recherchant et en détectant les espaces vierges entre les sélec-
tions enregistrées, la fonction de recherche de sélection musicale
permet de sauter automatiquement vers l'avant ou vers l'arriére au
début d'une sélection particuliére et de commencer la reproduction
de cette sélection. La fonction de recherche de sélection musicale
peut sauter

l'avant ou vers
l'arriere un maximum
de 15
sélections.
Pendant une reproduction vers l'avant
Pour passer à la sélection suivante ou au-delà, appuyer sur la tou-
che d'avance rapide (Pb) le nombre de fois correspondant au nom-
bre de sélections à sauter. Pour écouter la sélection en cours de
reproduction depuis le début, appuyer une fois sur la touche de recul
rapide ( 44). Pour passer à la sélection précédente ou avant, appuyer
sur la touche de recul rapide (44) le nombre de fois correspondant
au nombre de sélections à sauter plus un.
Pendant une reproduction inverse
Pour passer à la sélection suivante ou au-delà, appuyer sur la tou-
che d'avance rapide ( 44) le nombre de fois correspondant au nom-
bre de sélections à sauter. Pour écouter la sélection en cours de
reproduction depuis le début, appuyer une fois sur la touche de recul
rapide (PP). Pour passer à la sélection précédente ou avant, appuyer
sur la touche de recul rapide (Pb) le nombre de fois correspondant
au nombre de sélections à sauter plus un.
