WARNING! Do not clean the drain pump filter while the washing
machine is in operation! Switch off the appliance and disconnect it from
the mains before.
WARNING! If there is hot water in the washing machine, ensure before
residual water drainage that the water has cooled down completely. RISK
OF SCALDING! RISK OF BURNS!
1. Switch off the appliance and disconnect it from the mains.
2. Insert a flathead screwdriver or a key
cover panel (A). Press the cover panel using a lot of force - but also being careful
- downwards (s. fig. below).

3. Remove the cover panel.
4. Place a container in front of the opening.
5. Open the drain pump filter (C), but do not remove it completely. Rotate the drain
pump filter (C) in anti-clockwise direction until the water begins to run (s. fig.
below).
6. Wait until the water has drained completely.
7. Unscrew the drain pump filter completely and remove it.
Key or flathead screwdriver are not included in the scope of delivery.
